Геаграфія правіць

Уваходзіць у правінцыю Таледа, у складзе аўтаномнай супольнасці Кастылія — Ла-Манча. Муніцыпалітэт знаходзіцца ў складзе раёна (камаркі) Ла-Сагра. Займае плошчу 72,68 км². Насельніцтва — 17522 чалавека (на 2010). Адлегласць да адміністрацыйнага цэнтра правінцыі — 50 км.

Гісторыя правіць

29 кастрычніка 1939 года падчас грамадзянскай вайны Сесенья і суседні Эсківіяс сталі месцам узброенага сутыкнення паміж прыхільнікамі Франсіска Франка з аднаго боку, і рэспубліканскай арміяй з атрадам савецкіх ваенных спецыялістаў з другога. Бой атрымаў шырокую вядомасць за кошт першага прымянення Т-26[3] і першага ў гісторыі танкавага тарана[4].
