English: "The Cheesegrater" (122 Leadenhall Street) and "The Gherkin" (30 St Mary Axe). Taken from The Monument. The rear of the Lloyd's building makes up the lower foreground.
Photographer's notes: Each of the 21 frames that make up this image were taken with a Sony A33 camera and Sony 55-300 lens at 130mm. The exposure was f/6.3, 1/400s, ISO 100. The viewing platform on the Monument is covered in a wire cage with holes too small to stick a DSLR lens through. This image was only possible by hand-holding a telephoto lens aimed through the holes, which isn't ideal. The resulting stitched image was downsized to achieve an acceptable degree of sharpness.

These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
